By far the best steaks in Soto area! Sebastian is a great host and the refreshing basics with no pretense lets the food be the focus. How they keep the asparagus and mushrooms so moist and flavorful on the grill is an art. The steaks are always perfect as that is the specialty. Never much luck with the fish but this is an Argentinean steak restaurant so it is easily forgiven….the kids liked the chicken as the flavor was not overpowering. Get the steak and you will not be disappointed. There are more posh and detailed places for twice the price but if you want casual good steaks this is the only place to go.

What a disappointment, hearsay reported that La Quinta was a great place to eat, I agree, it could be a great place to eat, if only the food was not so basic and badly presented. Unfortunately the experience was dreadful. To start with, the crockery was rough and looked as if it came from a penal institution. Now the food, I object to paying restaurant prices for products that came out of a tin, (Asparagus, Spinach). The chicken was not only tough but tasteless and completely without any seasoning. The place is devoid of any ambiance. I can do better at home. Finally judging by the aromatic aura, some of the staff could do with a shower before presenting themselves.
Nothing but poor a Polo field Chiringuito.

Went for the first time recently for my birthday and had a great night. The food was fantastic and the staff friendly and really attentive. I’d heard a lot of good things about La Quinta, and it was even better than I’d hoped for. Fab.

I love La Quinta. Last year there was a superb Tango evening when the golf was on at Cortesin and we followd that up by going for New Years Eve which was excellent fun. Been several times this year and last week had probably the best fillet of my life. Well done guys and good luck.

What an improvement in location! Sebastian’s at the Rio polo ground for the summer and it’s perfect. The food is just as reliable as ever and much better value than Cancha Dos, plus there’s more variety. Only problem is booking as he doesn’t always answer his phone.

Sebastian makes such a genuine effort to make this work. We have been there three times now and each time my expectation increase and each time they are exceeded. What a great little place, great value, great food, great service! All they need to do now is add Bannoffee to the menu and we will be going there every week!:-)

Not the greatest location or standard of decor, but fabulous, reasonably priced food and great service from Sebastian and his staff. Sebastian is a great host and has moved around quite a lot in Sotogrande. I do hope he gets a lot of support as he tries hard and nothing is too much trouble. Steak to die for, even better than Relingue and Cancha Dos.
