The Terrace has really gone down hill in the past year, it is DIRTY, unlooked after and just unloved. Themed nights is a great idea, would loved to go, also the menu and drinks are really good, i love the carrot juice. BUT The owners seem to be reluctant to spend money on maintenance and cleaning up. I particularly have a problem there with dried dog sh*te everywhere! I can not take my 1 yr old there and let her walk around as the place has dog mess dotted around everywhere. The last time I went there was with 3 other mums, we asked for baby highchairs they came absolutely filthy. Guys clean up before the hygiene inspectors put a big lock on your doors!

the place is nice and the food tasty but i don’t know why it always makes me sick in a way or another

I don’t know who these people are who have reveiewed this restaurant, but they don’t seem to have gone to the same place as me. the service is terrible, the food is overpriced for what you get and then its the waiting. on top of that if you have an accident, don’t expect any trained first aiders as their don’t seem to be any. Other than that rumours aboud about what goes on behind closed doors……needless to say, i wouldn’t take my kids to a place where these things go on!

Fantastic place to eat with the children – Plenty of space for them to play and a healthy menu to choose from, so no guilt for eating out yet again!
Cocktails are worth sampling and the service has always been spot on everytime we’ve visited.

I love Terra Sana and have had great food and great service the few times I have been there, its a perfect place to relax with a smoothie and a salad, while checking your emails, and makes a refreshing change. I hope it survives the winter as the only thing it needs is more customers to improve the ambience!

Whenever I ask the kids where they want to eat they say Terra Sana. I’d love to say it is because of the healthy food, but it is the smoothies and choccie milk shakes they crave! I love the smoothies too, the french toast breakfast, the wraps, and the salads. Actually it’s making me hungry writing this – think I’ll go tomorrow!

So great to have a place that you don’t have to feel guilty about eating in! Have tried several dishes and each one has been really good. The children have also really enjoyed the food; which in this area is a mission not easily accomplished, unless you are happy to settle for chicken nuggets every time. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the surroundings are great for the children. I actually think it is good value for money, considering that the ingredients are always fresh and good quality!

This restaurant was highly anticipated and beat everyone’s expectations in the area. It filled a huge gap in terms of serving good healthy food in an eye-pleasing location whilst providing a comfortable environment for families with children which was lacking in the area.
As for lack of competition (Foodie(!)) – not sure how well you know the area otherwise you would understand that there are many other restaurants and coffee shops that offer breakfast menus, in fact more so than for lunch! Therefore your point regarding lack of competition is mute and the fact that many still go there for breakfast just shows how worth it it is! And referring to your other comments, i’m not sure how much more you would like to be done with the inside? If you want shade when you eat then it is fully equipped to cater for you already?? I understand that this is a review and all comments good or bad are welcome but at least say something that stands and isn’t a load of bullsh*t!
So, let’s just be happy that we have Terra Sana, praise it and enjoy!

One of my favourite places to eat in the area! Great healthy food served in a stunning setting with friendly staff … cant beat it! I love their shakes, perfect as a pick me up to get some extra vitamins! Their cocktails are yummy too, totally recommend their mojitos and the raspberry one they do! If your feeling a bit naughty, their cheese cake is to die for!!!! Love this place, a welcome addition to our culinary map!

Great place, love the kiddie area although maybe a soft mat under would work better. The food is great, service is ok as sometimes can be a bit slow.
But i love it and the kids love it too as they can get their favourite pasta there.

I love this place! Great restaurant, perfect location, excellent service and healthy food – what more could you ask for?
review by Foodie, June 5, 2010.
Very good location and the food is not bad. A little pricey, especially breakfast, but I suppose given the lack of competition they can get away with charging that much. Wait staff are really good, which is a good reason for going back. Also nice to see a place focused on more healthy grub. More could be done with the inside, especially when it is really hot outside and locals want some cool shade when they are eating. Either way, come winter I hope they are still doing well as we need this location to succeed.
