I have been several time to Cancha II. but the last one has been disappointing. the restaurant was packed and the service has deteriorated due to this. We have waited 1.5 hours for the starters, and the carpaccio was still frozen. The waiter apologized profusely but the damage was done. and despite having complained about the carpaccio being frozen and therefore uneatable, it has been billed. shame !

Estuve alli por recomendacion de unos amigos que les encanta el lugar y fui a probar con mi mujer en nuestro aniversario, y la verdad es que nos escanto la comida era exelente, el lugar tiene unas vistas maravillosas, un buen servicio y ademas tuvieron un gran detalle por lo de nuestro aniversario, lo recomiendo a todos aquellos amantes de la buena carne.

Yeterday was our 10th or so visit. We love the location and until recently the food. We have henced tolerated the rather absent minded service. However the portions are getting drastically smaller and the abent mindedness seems to have spread into the kitchen as the food quality has become hit and miss and there always seem to be problems with reservations etc. We shall probably only go when invited by others who really want to!!

We have been before and enjoyed it but we have tried to go twice recently and the phone for reservations is mis listed all over the web and here also. We stopped in one night and they could not take a table for two and there were only two tables being used at the time. They gave us the new reservations number but we tossed it as it really is not worth it. La Quinta is a much better choice for the food, ambiance, price and service anyway.

Food is good, wine is good. Went with people who knew the staff so service was very attentive. But in the middle of nowhere with very few signs so very hard to find in the dark. And found it very expensive for what we had.

Steak to die for, only rivalled in Argentina. Worth a trip from London for the weekend just to eat there….yes really!

Lovely situation with fab views – but the quality of the food is very variable. My last steak was like boot leather and you couldn’t see the colour of it as the lighting is so low. The service is very pleasant but much too slow.
