The very best thing that can be said about this establishment is that it has the freshest meat served anywhere in the port. It tends to drop off the ceiling or furniture into whatever you happen to be eating at the time, yum yum.

The prices are high, the service (especially at the bar) is appallingly slow (if friendly). The interior is very dark and the ambience somewhat stark.

Drinking and dining on the excellent terrace, with commanding views of the Marina, is somewhat soured by a hefty price hike over rates within the bar.

As a fellow traveller of Mr O’Callghan’s ilk, I am somewhat baffled at his review and judgement.

As far as Irish bars go around the world, this one is up there with the best, and I have travelled a lot. The service is good and friendly. Food is excellent and fairly priced. Location exceptional although could be exploited more. Overall I had a fantastic time there and will definately recommend to everybody I know.

Muy decepcionante. He ido varias veces y lo unico q me he encontrado han sido niños de 13 años borrachos, las mesas sucias y un servicio pesimo. Lo unico bueno es la localizacion. Nada aconsejable

what can i say? BORING! unused location, WORST service ever, unprofessional management, the menu changed only slightly in past 5 years, minors tossing ketchup bags on each other, servis shouting on each other… not a place to bring a person you are trying to impress. waste of firday or saturday night, acceptable for sport events though (1 big screen, 3 TVs). for me the last place to go.

If you like unwiped tables between clients and no paper tablecloths then Flaherty’s is the place for you.Portions are large and whilest the quality of the fast food may be good the presentation of it on the plate often makes it look unattractive. Good place for a coffee and internet.

Having managed bars/restaurants in the past, we were very impresed with the quality of the food served and the friendly service. An excellent location and down to earth prices. The best burgers we have eaten (apart from our own of course!) and the Irish nachos are scrumptious … If someone fancies babysitting, we´d love to enjoy an evening down there.

It is a good place just in front of the port, where you can have a pint and a pizza at any time you want to. Friendly staff, a nice prices per drinks around 5,50 euros. There you can watch de english football, and on wednesday it’s a very busy day for young people who starts the party just before to go to bahia limon.
Gran lugar justo en frente del puerto, donde puedes tomar una pinta y una piza a cualquier hora del dia. Personal amable, con buenos precios, alrededor de 5,50 por bebida. Donde puedes ver la liga inglesa, y los miercoles, es el dia mas popular para los jovenes que empiezan alli la fiesta antes de ir a bahia limon.
En definitiva, un sitio de ambiente ingles, precios no muy elevados, un trato cordial y amable, y una localizacion excelente!.
